What are you competing for?
When I started working with a personal trainer, he asked me what my fitness goals were. I told him I want to still be running and lifting weights when I am in my eighties. He said that was the best goal he’d ever heard, but that it would be hard to measure success for a while, so could I please also pick a short-term goal. When I’ve managed that chin-up I’ll let you know 😉
(By the way, if anyone reading this has Maccabi Sheli coverage, you are currently entitled to 10 sessions with a personal trainer for 23 shekels each. And anyone who has the premium insurance for any kupat cholim should take a look at the list of benefits, they have some great deals.)
If anyone is looking for a great personal trainer in the Be’er Sheva area, give Tzuf Raz a call. He works with all ages and fitness levels, and has reasonable English 🙂
I don’t want to be a bodybuilder, or get into the Guinness Book of World Records, but I still find her inspiring: Meet the 81-year-old woman who can bench press 115lb
