5 things I’ve learned over the past weeks
- If someone offers to help with something, and I don’t have the energy to make up my mind if I need the help – take it.
- If I can’t cope with decided whether to eat or take care of something else first – eat.
- If I can’t decide whether I’m sick or tired, try and go running. If I don’t make it out the door – I’m sick.
- If I know I’m sick, I must cancel tomorrows patients and plan on staying in bed – not wake up extra early to see if I’m still sick and then start making phone calls at the crack of dawn.
- If I’m lonely and I have a phone with me – call a friend.
You might not think it would be so hard to remember the simple things, but I always find it’s better to write them down.
